Summary on 2009

I only got to play a few tournaments in 2009, and no international ones. Results where ok. Im hoping at least to get to go to one to two international tournaments in 2010. My throwing has been a little bit up and down. Struggled a bit in the early part of the year, but lately it has been going better. Entered my first distance competition and threw 146meters in poor throwing conditions, som Im pretty happy about that.

Putting Away

Well I got my putting in today. Traveled down to Tishomingo to the State Park, and shot a round. It was a blast because I felt so confident in my putting. Before the round did some warm up putting practice and showed some impressive putting on the course. Even saved par with a 20 footer.

So I can honestly say I did my putting today.

Timmons Front 9

I played the front 9 at Timmons after work today, It was very windy and I haven't been playing, but I was awful. I ended up at 6 over 33. That's really bad on the front at Timmons. I need to get back to playing more often and get into the swing of things.

I Need a Fix!!!

Sigh. I just can't get enough time in to actually play disc golf lately. It's really getting to me today so I thought I'd vent here.

When we last surveyed members of this network, the average member said they played something like 130-150 rounds a year. I doubt very much that I even got 50 in this year. Who knows about the Innova Moray

I've had one for a few months now and didn't play with it for a while, but a couple months ago I put it back in my bag and I really like it. My pro friend saw it and almost wet his pants. He said he used to have one and he would love to have another one. I've never seen one before. Does Innova still make this disc? Mine's pretty old.

New discs part 2

Went and played whispering pines today,wet and chilly.Shot 50 wich is about average for me at this course.The new star mako i got was a great adition to my bag,super straight without being to understable.I tested the other discs in a field and could not be happier.The star katana is like a super fast version of the valkeryie a little more stable,wich is exactly what i have been looking for.The champ beast is probably going to be my favorite disc super long and holds a great line.The champ boss… Continue

League seasons are over, but wait, Indoor DG?

Shot me a new Record

I got a chance to go out to the home course and shoot a round today. All that putting practice has paid off. I shot a solid 64 with absolutely no double bogeys. I was very pleased all around with my drives mid and putting. I pared more holes than I did bogey. I hit no deuces but that is ok. It will come in due time. So until next time,

New discs

Bought some new discs today,star mako,champ boss,champ beast,star katana,going to go play early tomorrow rain or shine.Course im playing tomorrow is to short to throw my new stuff,but will make good use of the mako.The rest i will test in the soccerfield.Get back tomorrow to let everyone know how they do.

Third Outing

It has taken a few days to get this post up due to a hectic schedule. I played my third scored outing on Saturday in a tournament at Pickwick Plantation. I played in the Novice division and took 4th out of six. I held steady to my round average on both rounds. I threw a 66 on round one which was down 2 strokes from the first round of my last post and threw a 72 on round 2 of the day which was up 1 stroke from round 2 of my last post.
