All Hollows Heave

I was in my first real tourny this weekend out at Ammon Ranch here in Humboldt County, All Hollows Heave. What a great tourny to start with. I met people from all over the state and country, including a guy who was a disc golfer from Bowling Green KY, and if I remember right, the president of a disc golf club there. My first course design / My 3rd ace

I was out working helping some friends in Trinity county on my weekend, which bummed me out becuse the nearest DGC was in Weaverville (45 minutes away). Then my friend sugested that we make a course on his property the next day. We all were up partying late, drinking tequila and beer, but me unlike them was still up at 8:30 ready to go to work. So-Hum Paradise

Yesterday I got to play a private course in Southern Humboldt that blew my mind, Birds of Paradise. This course was amazing, lefts, rights, ups, downs, tightly wooded, open fields (but never flat open fields), HUGE elevation change, lots of alternates and tons of room for expansion. The guy who runs the course (on his parents land) is very cool and a fun guy to play with.
