Chick Flick - Success

Wow! What an awesome day! Teahching clinics was so mch fun... and seeing the ladies make improvements before my eyes was amazing! A super fun round in the afternoon after a great lunch provided by Next Adventure, all followed up with a ring of fire and a raffle full of fabulos prizes... payout was awesome, paying out 100% of the Rec field. Awesome awesome day! Good job Carrie, Amanda and Celeste!!

Chick Flick - This weekend!

Just wanted to let you know that if you are in the area this weekend there is an all female disc golf event happening at Timber Park on Saturday put on by Chick Flicks. F-2 Tornado wipes out Disc Golf Course!!!

Ever wonder what a disc golf course would look like after an F-2 tornado hits it? ...wonder no more...

The course at Riverside Park in Hammond, Indiana got a direct hit Monday night. The tornado wiped out my local power grid except for my cable. I am currently powered by a generator and anticipate the same for a few more days.

The 2008 Sun Valley Open is moving forward!

Yesterday we took the first steps to move the 2008 SVO forward. We sent in the sanctioning agreeement and paid for the different fees. Now comes the fun part of gathering sponsors and getting everything prepared. Currently we have 5 teesign sponsors, so if you want to sponsor a sign let me know ASAP. Stumptown Winter Series Final @ Milo

Well I took part in my first official tournament last Sunday at Milo, in Estacada, OR. It is normally a 27 hole course, but for tournaments they make it into a 36 hole course. My first round was 85 on the west side of the course, and 82 on the east side. Both the east and the west courses were a par 60.

A big thank you goes out to Bill Bullington and the Cotton pickin flyers for accomadating some new players that me and my buddy dylan brought over to mini tourney today. I realized something about young new players. They love to buy plastic. Lots of it. Bags, baskets. There thirst for knowledge and disc instruction is amazing!
