In Disc Golf there are countless opinions on what has to happen for the game to truly come of age. We constantly hear about a higher level of professionalism, corporate sponsorship, and media coverage. Yet, the more these fires are stoked the less I am impressed with the fruits of our collective efforts. It reminds me of an old saying my parents used on me: "you can dress him up,… Continue

Ever wonder what a disc golf course would look like after an F-2 tornado hits it? ...wonder no more...
The course at Riverside Park in Hammond, Indiana got a direct hit Monday night. The tornado wiped out my local power grid except for my cable. I am currently powered by a generator and anticipate the same for a few more days.
I posted some pics in the picture galleries from my crawl through the course earlier today at the web site below and will add more as time and gas… Continue

If you got a cool video you want added to the site please let me know...
Grand Opening Photo Op For Course Designer Terry Calhoun alongside Lorie Szyperski, the main force that found the land and raised enough money for 18 baskets
The first Pinconning Disc Golf Club tournamnet sponsored in part by INNOVA was a huge success. Mike Siuda had low score of the day with a 56 round after a morning round of 59. The two scores totaled a winning score for AM1. Yes, it is a tough course to score…

I suspect the teesigns will go fast this year. We will also have a 2008 SVO Fundraiser Disc which we will be selling before the event. Watch for the Entry Form and the 2008 Website coming… Continue
Well I took part in my first official tournament last Sunday at Milo, in Estacada, OR. It is normally a 27 hole course, but for tournaments they make it into a 36 hole course. My first round was 85 on the west side of the course, and 82 on the east side. Both the east and the west courses were a par 60.
I started out trying to hard, I was not driving very accurately, and my putting was not bad with in 15 feet of the basket. I'm not saying that I drive very accurate to start with, but… Continue
