First AM2 tourney

Used my new 900 rating this weekend in Ypsilanti & entered my first tourney in Am2.... 4 strokes off the lead going into round 2 & pulled out a victory by staying calm through the storm so to speak. Couple inches of snow fell during the 2nd round. Good start to the move up eh :)

PDGA site is down right now & round ratings weren't up earlier today, I'd assume they're both pretty good. I was less than 5 strokes I think from the Am1 winner.

So-Hum Paradise

Yesterday I got to play a private course in Southern Humboldt that blew my mind, Birds of Paradise. This course was amazing, lefts, rights, ups, downs, tightly wooded, open fields (but never flat open fields), HUGE elevation change, lots of alternates and tons of room for expansion. The guy who runs the course (on his parents land) is very cool and a fun guy to play with. A big thank you goes out to Bill Bullington and the Cotton pickin flyers for accomadating some new players that me and my buddy dylan brought over to mini tourney today. I realized something about young new players. They love to buy plastic. Lots of it. Bags, baskets. There thirst for knowledge and disc instruction is amazing!
