Today began at Creekside "Crawdad" in Camp Hill PA around 9:30 am. It is pretty decent, mostly short but demanding shots leaving you afraid of the river on most holes. Lots of poison ivy, but very easy to avoid it except for 3 holes on monster alley, where it is freshly carved out woods and very nasty. The other part of the course is a park setting with mowed grass and no rough stuff. Easy to follow, great signage and flow. Hanging arrows point you on your way. I ran into a tag league and… Continue

My last round today was at my 400th course played, Valley View park in Altoona, PA. It is 9 holes, somewhat too tight mixed with open. Very muddy, hard to navigate, but with good signs and tees. Several long fun holes save it and make it decent course.
Also played Getty Heights in Indiana, PA first today. It has 2-3 dumb blind woods holes, the rest are open-ish and short but good for beginners. Then I got a haircut.
Next, I went to IUP to play the PA state championships course (this… Continue

Ok, so today I got to Morraine State Park, in Portersville, PA. (finally, the directions sucked and sent me 4 miles off because of bad park signage, I will try to update them!)
It was about noon, cloudy with a chance of rain. On hole #1 right after I drove, Zach Zimmel (Zimnuts on here, I got him to sign up) showed up to play a round and catch up with his friends, so I joined them as my guide. This course is SICK, one of new favorites. Every hole is unique, full of par 4's and 5's. It is a… Continue

Well, I am staying with my grandma in Lisbon, OH tonight.
I plan to hit Pittsburgh Thursday, mainly Morraine State-if it's as nice as it looks, maybe two rounds there.
Here are some reviews etc from the past 3 days:
Got some Cabela's brand shoes at Cabela's on the way down..so far after 9-10 rounds they are awesome still, waterproof lining, high ankle, feel good grip good. Couldn't be happier that never happens :).
I played Hodges Boyer in Tiffin Ohio for the… Continue

Tomorrow morning (early) I leave for a cross-country disc golf tour which should take me to 48 states throughout up to a year!
This has been in the works for some 3 years now. I will be posting much as much information about where I am, course reviews, and pictures as I can while on the road. Keep an eye out for it. Hope to see some of you out there on your courses!

If it weren't for this frisbee, this website would not exist today. I began throwing this in my yard over a decade ago, shooting at targets. I thought I had found something new, and later that year was introduced to the actual sport of disc golf. Hooked immediately, I got my parents to play. So if you follow that logic..if I never had this frisbee, I might never had started disc golfing..then my dad would not have..then he would not have created this site!…

So I went there with intentions to play 48 holes, all longs. But, after playing the Blacks (Monster Long) 24, I went over to the original and decided it wasn't safe to play the longs, too many people stepped on them and turned it into pure ice. The black tees had some snow making it possible to drive off of, though they were pretty bad.
I shot 69 (-3) on the Blacks, and 65 (-7) on the Reds.
Had some pretty lame shots and some pretty great ones. Hole #9 Black is 410' and I… Continue

Played it on the way to work saturday. Thanks for cleaning the Tees!
Shot -5 on the middle-tees for 9 holes. Beat my dad by 4 strokes!
Ended up being 3 minutes late for work but it was worth it. We got an insane ice-rain last night, nothing is playable now.

This year I got off work at 5:30 and didn't get any sleep before the tournament. I have played this one 8 times, and have done better several times..ohwell.
The weather was probably the best I can remember, usually it is 1'+ of snow and much colder with purely icy tee-pads. Last year the Monster tees were so bad it was hard to stand on them without moving let alone throw. I don't know the numbers..looked like a lot of food and at least 50 players, which is good.
I shot a -2 followed by… Continue

Just got done playing a course in Minerva, OH.
Beat my dad by 8 for 18 holes. He got several water hazards.
Decent course for the small park. 9 Holes, cement tees, well designed. Possibly as well designed as could be for the land. Certainly not a destination but good for the locals.
