Knee feeling a little better

Went out and played @ the pitch and putt and got second in the random draw mini. Knee is still really tender and I can not perform a run-up. I can one step a Roc 280, which is the longest hole length at this course. My putting was dead on (buckets not baskets). We finished at 15 under. Given the near flooded state of the course, I can not complain with the results. I plan on taking it easy again this week. Maybe start getting in some putting practice Tuesday. Knee Injury :(

Just as I was starting to feel good about my game my knee decides to go out on me. Its probably nothing toooo serious, but it has been getting worse over the last few days. Its my left knee and its swollen on the left side. Maybe after a week off it will look and feel better. Luckily I have a new phone (DROID) coming in today so I wont be bored when I have to run the random draw doubles mini and can't play. Throwing around the pivot point and getting the disc to the power zone.

There are two extremely important concepts I have finally gotten my head around about disc golf. One is understanding the power zone and the second is to throwing the disc around the pivot point. While I could sit here and explain these concepts in the detail, it would be much easier for me to direct you to the resources I used to better understand the concepts.

Still working hard

I have slacked off on my drills a lot lately but have been playing a lot of disc golf. I cashed last weekend at the Ford Park Open in Shreveport, LA with 22 people in my division I was in a 3-way tie for first after the first round but started off bad in the 2nd round and could never get my confidence back on track. I managed to hold on to 6th.


Down here in the south very few tournaments are scheduled for most of July and August so I will be using these months to make some…
