Destiny has brought me back?

So facebook disabled my account on me... I googled "m-kay facebook" (my facebook account name) and stumbled across this site. An update on me: I will be attending the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater fall 2009 as long as I can get into a dorm. I'm super excited to get out there to meet new people and hopefully make life long friends. I can't wait to play the course there, Patrick created it. School Club

Someone else from my school is creating the disc golf club, he is more experienced with the game so I stepped down officially as of yesterday, (Wed.), otherwise today I would have gotten my club approved. This will be exciting! Continue

Finally I got to Play today!

I played the Wales course today. We just did the front 9 twice instead of going on the back 9 because it was muddy back there. I did pretty well, and I got to try out my new disc, Skeeter! I really like how it feels, I can even putt with it nicely. I didn't keep score the first round, but the 2nd time through I scored a 10, (which for me not playing awhile isn't too bad). I practiced today!

September 1st, 2008. I practiced for over an hour today! I spent 20 minutes warming up throwing all my discs. Then I practiced putting for 20 minutes straight with my panther and avair. I went back to throwing only a few discs at a time to really feel the control of the discs. Then I practiced throwing my pro wraith and I got it to turn over today! Some nice s-curves today! Now I can't wait to play! Hopefully I get that call saying "Yes, let's go throw some discs". Continue

DGG & DGGA

So I finally completed my constitution for my club for at the college so it can be approved as of the 1st day of school! I just wanted to post that because I'm proud of myself for not procrastinating! I have so much coming up that I'm involved with, and disc golfing has become a passion to me. Did a little Dretzka today! (8-27-08)

Even though my original ride ditched me, I still made it out there to meet a couple new friends, and play at least 4 holes before giving up due to the darkness and the one guy loosing a disc. Unfortately I did not get to practice my putting today, but I did get to try out my new disc and love it! It's a "Rock-It" disc. It glides really nice, I'm happy with my selection. Continue

Courses I've Played, as a newb!

Greetings! For those of you who don't know me well enough yet, I just got into Disc Golfing this year... end of June. By the 3rd time I was walking out to a course to play, I had already purchased my own discs! I truly enjoy this sport because I get to be outside, enjoy nature, get my exercise, be challenged, spend time with my friends, and most of the time it costs nothing! I just wanted to say...

I practiced my putting today! YAY ME!!! Other notes: I've just started playing the sport of Disc Golf as of late June 2008. I'm currently in the works of creating a Disc Golf Club at the UW-Waukesha campus. I want to get approval at the UW-Waukesha campus to build a Disc Golf course. Does anyone else disc golf in their sleep? :-P Continue
