Colorado Open follow up 5/15/08

Colorado is well known for it's surprising weather changes ... We found out just how dramatically it can change last weekend, at the beginning of the 2008 Colorado Open, May 10-11.

I woke up, got my stuff together and prepared for the short drive to the course. It's great to be at home and only have a 15 minute drive to get to the tournament. I did my warm up, and then some putting in the yard. The sun was out, and there were only a few fluffy clouds floating in the sky. After my… Continue

Colorado Open 5/9/08

Colorado Open starts today with doubles at 4:30 PM. I'm not going to make it over for doubles because my wife has the car tonight (girls night), but that's cool, if I can't play CMC well, then ... I suck! ;)

Our first day, the weather was challenging, with fairly high winds and a little rain. The Advanced Grandmasters started Saturday morning at Sioux Passage. This 8500+ foot course is big, and long. It… Continue

St Louis Open 5/2/08

I flew from Grand Junction CO to St Louis on Wednesday night. Interesting flight coming over the Rockies ... probably the bumpiest plane ride I have ever taken. We landed just in time ... I was about to blow chunks.

Denver to St Louis was casual. Arrived, and was picked up by my nephew Adam and his fiance Chris. Spent the day Thurday at my sisters house visiting my folks and family. Great time.

The weather is a little intense today. Thudershowers and some wind. I'm going out to hit up… Continue
