just watched on our TSN   Canada's top 100 ball golf courses, all ranked as to which are the best courses .... they looked tremendous as compared to what we have to play on .... maybe it's a visual thing ... perhaps we need to take over a few 18 hole executive ball courses and install baskets, make them like PS3 Disc Golf ...... no wonder we're not taken seriously the big boys who have been playing golf for 400 years look at what we do and say ... who'd want to do that? .... we just may want…

The post below is disconcerting .... it's been here for three weeks and and nobody has added a comment or acknowledged this man's pain over the loss of a game he obviously loved. If his allegations are real then like the rest of the world can do " your world can get screwed over very easily "  We hope you can keep clear of the bunch that have caused you distress and can heal up from your pain.  The very best of luck to you.

This was my first ever pdga event in the States.

It was enjoyable but could have been better in a couple of areas. 

As an am senior grandmaster i found it kind of dumb that i had to tee off at 7:30am three days in a row.  I never play dg before 11am, my old body doesn't easily allow it. From the 3 Palms it was a1hr run out there .... 6:30 plus a half hour to get up makes it a 6am start to play dg, just plain nuts from my point of view.  get the young guys up to play early ...…

psyched and ready to play ..... coming from Canada to get a little sun and heat and some long valkryie hyzer bombs ... the wife is even going to caddie for me, she's got MS so will get in her electric scooter and carry the bag hung off the chair behind her ....... i've even joined the pdga, something i thot i'd never do ........ but here i am, now a member ... i hope a few more of you senior…

Played today at Event 3 of the Island Summer series here on Vancouver Island at the Cooper's Hawk Course in Campbell River. As We are aging there are more G.M.'s up and coming. We had about 8 in the mix with Dan and i the only Senior GM's in the field. I threw my PB for the course at a -10, no bogies and 10 birds. Dan was right behind me doing a -8 staying close, ( he's a real pro so I felt real good about my score ). A little lunch break and away we go for the 2nd round. Thru the front nine…

........ we've just built a new course ........ it's par 60 with 4-4's and 1-5 ........ fun but a 2hr. venture as it's long ...... in trying to make it a fair test for all players we have pro, advanced and ladie's and novice tees. In doing so we have found that with the red tees the ladies can score just about on a par with the advanced men. The shortened tees are a good equalizer. It allows the advanced women the ability to compete head to head with the advanced men. Do you think this is good?… Continue

We hope we can get one installed in time for the 2009 BC Senior Games. Richmond is the host city and they have no course ............... so I've designed one for the old farm lands at Terra Nova out by the dyke in West Richmond. The area it would go into is about 10 acres of derilict farm fields where masses of blackberries abound. It's a very natural area and a lot of the time very wet underfoot. Perfect for disc golf. Well realy not that tough because once again discing is a real fun sport and boy do I enjoy getting a few birdies ........ I had a 5 on hole one and numerous 4's but birded 7 out of 9 on the backside for a end up even over the round. Not great but enough to squeak out a tie so no bag tag loss ....... I didn't put any pressure on myself just played within my abilities to hit clean shots and set up successful putts for birds ....... after 2 hole today I was +3 after taking a bush whacking 6 ......... someway to defend a bagtag ..... got lucky though ending staving off the loss and finishing at -2 ...... why we do things like that to ourselves I do not know ....but i guess it's only a game ...... and the best thing is getting our there and chucking

Got the call to go out to ' Course Chez Daryl ' a farm course on 40 acres. Daryl the owner, Stu and I went at it playing for Bagtags with Daryl giving us each a stroke for home course advantage. These youngs guys thought they were going to beat up on me but I showed them. When I hit the 200' putt on 10 hole they knew something was up. It was wet and soggy with snow lying around but I was putting great. I beat Daryl by 5 and Stu by 4. I retained my 3 tag and Stu gained 7 and Daryl down to 9.…

It happened again this weekend, DUCK GOLF - this time in Campbell River BC. It's our provincial winter series. We had about 45 out, on a cold snowy day. The thing about it was I'm a grandmanster 58+ and we played the super long long tees that the Open guys play. I hadn't played the longs before and boy do you ever have to hit the holes to make it to the fairways, otherwise it's a long day for sure.
