Made my first ace of 2009 today at Kennsington tunnel #11. Made $15 of of the crew that was with me, and another $100 plus for the first ace of the year.

Just finished entering all my scores from 2008. Due to some of them being lost or water damaged beyond recognition my numbers are lower than they should be. I plan to stay on top of it better this year.

Sunday, January 4, Dave Milewski hit an ace on Monster #5 Short pad at Hudson Mills. This brings an end to my first traveling ace pool. It was started at the end of June 2008. Over the next eight tournaments it grew to $90. Now I will have to start a new one at the next tournament. Hopefully this time around people will get in sooner, rather than wait until other people have made it grow.

After staying up all night, we decided we should go to Grand Woods to get our first round of the year in. We got to the park around 8:30 am and were back home in bed by 10:30 am.

Went home to Washington for the first time since April 2005. Somehow the cold followed me from Michigan and we arrived to a 10 year storm. Winds from the northeast out of Canada and two feet of snow. I had to shovel my parents driveway numerous times just so I could get into town.

We did not get to play all the new courses that we were planning on, but did get to play the new course close to home. It is on an old camp ground that has been usused… Continue
