The Magic Disc

The other night I was sitting at a picnic table in the parking lot a block from Kira's dojo/gym putting masks on discs, and then she had an hour between classes so we spent some time playing playing putter catch. And then it was too dark to work on discs anymore, but it occured to me that on the driving range I could see all the balls in the dark so I could probably throw a white disc out there and have no trouble finding it.

Chick Plastic Review

Odd Merch

Kiralyn and I got up early and drove down to the Royal Oak Championship today. We did not play the tournament but we passed out flyers for the Flint Town Flyerz tournament next week and the Big D Doubles in October. We played nine holes at Starr-Jaycee [etymological origin of the expression "Starr par" by the way] before the TD showed up and then handed out flyers until registration closed. Then we played all 9 X 2 at Wagner.

Funny Girl

My daughter Kiralyn likes to make paper cranes. But what to do with them after you've made them? Her solution is to make paper cranes out of the junk mail that comes with pre-paid business reply envelopes and then send the cranes back with cheery notes for the people who open the business reply mail. Hating on the Pros

Some people say Bruce Brakel hates the pros. I really don't. Hate gives me an acid stomach. I cannot spend much time hating anything or I pay for it all the way through the digestive process.
