My game seems to be coming together at the right time. I'll be a disc golfin junkie in September!!

*and of course minis and casual rounds inbetween all that. September will be a blast!!! I'm stoked.

This will be my 3rd tourney, 2nd one this year, my tourney play has been far more pathetic than my weekly rounds. This course is bad to the bone!!! I hope to see a lot of you DFW folks out there! There will probably be a good showing of pros as well, like the last Titledisc tourney.

Titledisc is sponsoring this Charity event, for a great cause, entry fees are lower than usual.

This course will be far easier than my 1st tourney, hoping to place better than 9th out of 12 in recreational. Actually, hoping to win Rec because its my home course, L.L.Woods, Lewisville, TX. Nikko, McCabe and Miles will be there, hope to pick up a few pointers.

Yesterday, i played 3 rounds at one course and 1 at another. Scored 3, 2 then 0. At my home course later, i scored a -1. No mulligan's, no redos, etc. Putting was on like donkey kong. Best day for me, getting closer and closer to consistent par golf.

Just played a couple of rounds in rainy, windy cold, i mean cold and windy, not exaggerating in the slightest, and i only shot 4 worse than my average on this course. played with some pros, advanced and a grandmaster. i noticed 1 thing that set them apart from me. i thought they would all outdrive me to no end, but found that i was in their ballpark most of the time although they were slightly more accurate. their techniques were all different from each other and i noticed no one was trying to… Continue

Played my first Doubles Round today, with a bunch of guys who all just moved from Disc Golf Nation Kalamazoo, MI. i was like, why would you leave there, its the Mecca of Disc Golf? lol. so, they thought I was cool from that point on I guess. Got lots of compliments today, and they thought i was lying about only playing since August, so that was a great feeling and I noticed that positive encouragement from others works pretty darn good too, better than my self-motivation inside my head. About 10 weeks ago, I finally eclipsed the 250ft mark, hitting 275 for first time and then soon after that, it became my average up until 3 weeks ago.



3 weeks ago, I started to reach 300ft about 2 out of 10 throws and about 2 weeks ago started hitting 300 consistently and then began sometimes reaching 320.

Ok, now been playing for 4 months and not a day goes by that I don't either post to this site or think about Disc Golf. My love has always been football, for years and years, still is, but now it will come 2nd if the wife is game to watch the kids and the weather is suitable for playing.
