When it gets cold don't forget to "disc up"


This phrase may not mean much to the average disc golfer but in ball golf the terms "club up" or "club down" are used frequently. To "club up" in golf you select a 5 iron instead of a 6 iron or "club down" a 9 iron to a pitching wedge.

Your driving stinks!

I am tired of hearing this from friends and acquaintances after a tournament, “ My driving was good but I couldn't putt.” I hear this every time I ask. I hate to tell you this but your driving stinks. There I said it. The good news is your putting is probably fine. It's a mistake to believe that you are a bad putter because you can't make 50' to 70' putts all day long. Teepad design?

I was asked a while ago, "Rich, in a perfect world what would be the optimal teepad design?"



After a lot of consideration I think I've realized the elements needed for a perfect tee pad.



For natural pads:



First it must be a mixed surface. Hard-pan with about 15% pea gravel scattered evenly on the top.
