Officially looking for a partner. Would prefer to play Pro Masters--would consider Open. Lefty partner would be ideal -- but mostly would just like someone who's 80% or better inside the circle.

I can't believe that I'm sick at worlds. It's very frustrating.



Yesterday my body was just aching and I was really tired. I shot the second worst round in my pool and have now dropped back to the last card in the D pool before the great shuffle happens tonight, where it looks like I'm E pool bound.



I do feel a little better today, and I'm hoping to put together a decent round this afternoon at Oshtemo. Tomorrow morning we're playing at Timber Ridge, definitely the most… Continue

Oddly enough, I haven't been playing as many tournaments as I would have imagined with 6 months off work. I played the Master's Cup in May and then nothing until the Frying Pan a couple weeks ago. I wasn't particularly happy with my game in either tournament -- actually, I haven't been particularly happy with any of my tournament results in 2008.

Stockton CVS, part of the Central Valley Series of tournaments which are unsanctioned, single day tournaments that are still reasonably competitive.



I missed cashing by one spot, but played the 2nd round with Roger Cansler, Jim Oates and Kevin Couch. It's nice to play in a group of this caliber.

I only missed 4 putts inside the circle at Vista.

I've played the Memorial in past years as an amateur, and I've been pretty envious of the longer more technical layouts the pros have played. (Think narrow fairways with OB, more water to clear, two holes combined into one long hole, etc.) I'm excited and a little bit intimidated by the courses. Last year on hole 1 at the Fountain, I didn't put enough on my first shot to clear the water from the short (am) tee. The pro tee is set back another 70 feet! Not to say that unemployment is not good for one's golf game, but I have to admit to feeling a bit damaged after being laid off by my company, Yahoo! earlier this week.
