Why?!?!?!

Its been over a year since my last ace. Why have none come since then. At my home course I am down to only having 1 basket that I have yet to hit metal on (out of 18). Just yesterday I checked 2 baskets off my list of baskets to hit. Hole 8 I hit the cage about a half inch to to low, and on hole 5 I hit the pole. Besides that I blasted the chains on hole 14 but it kicked it back out. Is someone up there mad at me? Do I need to make a sacrifice to the Disc Golf Gods? I don't get it. I know its a short course and I should have aces by now. Especially with how many baskets I have hit. Here's the list of baskets hit and how many times I have hit them.

it happens, i had this happen about three years ago after a 7 ace season, i went ice cold having the disc do everything but stick. this went on for two and a half years! then i finally hit one in november of last year. i put most of it onn the fact that i went from being a very good forehand dominant game to a backhand dominant game, im now more of a switch hitter, it helps a lot with my scores but not my ace count.

Similar story. I have been clicking off aces at the same average for about fifteen years. Then, about five or so years ago, and right after my twentieth career ace, I went into a dry spell. dry only in aces, but certainly not metal hits. Int the chains and out the back, in the chains and bouncing off the pole and back out, off the facemask, off the number plate, off the pole, you get the idea. This went on for a year and a half, to almost nearly forty near aces without one sticking. I never went through that before, with the most metal hits and non-sticks being two or three between aces. So, this was real strange territory.
I even went so far as to thank God for the twenty aces I did hit and say "I get it", twenty it is, and if I never hit another, thank you for those.
Then about a month later, bang, $115.00 ace pot. Two weeks later, bang, $245.00. A month later, bang $105.00. And since then, I back to my averages and haven't had a metal hit and miss either.
Unexplainable, but very strange indeed. And yeah, it drove me crazy too.

wow, counting metal hits!?!?! This may be an addiction. Just play and they will come. You peu to much into them, and you only shott for them, raises your disappointment level. Or...................aim higher.

I know how you feel... i dont quite have 39 metal hits but 21 is close considering i still dont have an ace.
