Bad Time For Surgury

Hello fellow Disc Golfers, I am Sitting here in a very funky mood, this past September I decided to have major surgery on my right ankle. I decided to do it in October, so I wouldn't miss to much disc Golf due to the usually cold and wet fall we have up here in Michigan. Just the past weekend the fell'as were out playing in upper 50's temperature, and this fall they have had at least three night glow rounds, which I missed, what a real bummer. I should of waited until December. I glad my fellow Shore Acres Disc Golf Club Throwers have had A Great Fall Season. See you in the late Spring, my good Buddies.

Eric - Listen to your Doctor, let him know your desires, if he/she gives the OK, then go. I would hate to read about a Disc Golfer bleeding to death from the nose due to over exertion during an X-Step, on a 500' drive. Ha Ha Ha. Keep on Throwing

I'm having major sinus surgery for the 3rd time the 6th of Dec. the 10th there is a tourny in St, Louis. Im still gonna try to make it!! Disc on my brother!!

I think you'll be much happier that you had surgery when you did. I had shoulder surgery in August on my throwing arm...I missed the best time of the year to play! The good news is...we'll both be ready to play this spring and summer :)   take care of that ankle!

what's done is done ...... now have patience and heal up with time to spare .. enjoy your winter off
