after a years of searching Ive finally arrived at the perfect putter. drum roll please..... kc pro aviar. I recently picked up 11 and 12 time models. Ive tried wizards, challengers, magnets, flx challengers, classic aviars and many more.
In terms of durability this is it. All these aviar knockoffs have design flaws. You cant find enough of the same ones as innova has better distribution in alabama. The flight plates warp up as soon as you hit the first tree. i dont know about yall but I play on alot of wooded courses with short shots made for a putter.
The funny thing is, I have seen pretty much all of the top twenty players in the world using them. I used them 3 or 4 years ago but wandered off looking for the perfect putter. Its no wonder there endorsed by the 12 time world champion! That ends alot of conversations I have about disc companies,
Im not tied to one company although I gravitate towards discraft drivers and mid ranges. I asked Cam Todd, 2001 world champ how he adjusted to discraft from innova. this was a couple of years ago. He threw a xl as his midrange cause he couldnt find one like a roc(now there is a wasp and buzz). He helped design the challenger(think aviar). Hes a nice guy that gets a bad wrap.
I think most players are scared to mix there bags up. No ones paying you to throw all one brand. As long as you dont have a surge and a wraith in your bag, your ok.
until discraft comes out with a durable hard putter, Im a kc big bead man.
