What better way to waste time at work then posting my top 10 albums of 2007!! I usually take a lot of time doing this and then send it out as a mass email to all of my friends. Thanks to ERIC KULA for starting this tradition. I look forward to getting your list soon, you know the old man likes his cannoli.

New Pornographers: Challengers
It's a great album by my favorite band and it also has my putter in the title.

White Stripes: Icky Thump
Sick boy guitar

Radiohead: In Rainbows
Thanks ZV for the recommendation, but I would have downloaded it eventually. I want to know, who paid for it??

Kanye West: Graduation
Just got a copy of this a few weeks ago and I've been playing it nonstop.

Deerhoof: Friend Opportunity

Battles: Mirrored

LCD Soundsystem: Sound of Silver
good for the gym and a 'grower' for sure.

The Arcade Fire: Neon Bible
Another strong album from Canada's 2nd best band.

Justice: †
This album is like nothing I've heard before, so that's worth something, right?

Grizzly Bear: Friend EP
Also just got a copy of this, need to spend some time on it with headphones but it comes to me highly recommended by a very trusty source. I like it so far.

burnt my copy of "in rainbows" for free from a co-worker that paid $15 for it. Thanks for the "New Pornographers" recommendation, just picked it up at the Y-town library!

Touché Mr. Davis.

I was not aware that you are a vinyl person. I have a question for you on 'Ask John Davis.'

The title of the Small Sins album is Mood Swings.

That Pop Levi album is a lot of fun. Sometimes he sounds like Prince, sometimes like Led Zep.

EsDubya, have you had a chance to listen to either Feist or Of Montreal yet? They're radically different -- which did you prefer?

Some good stuff from 2007 that I've only discovered in the past week:

Small Sins - (I forget the album name)
Liam Finn - (I forget the album name, but it's from YepRoc Records, a label which put out several very good albums in 2007)
