First Post, Hello All

Hey everyone,

My first post and my first ever blog i suppose. I will keep this one short.

On my mind tonight, ive had to miss the last couple Southern Oregon Winter Series events due to prior arrangements but im totally stoked and pumped up for the event at the GREAT WHISTLERS BEND season finale. I need one more tourney to qualify for the finals which i will get at whistlers. I have to admit i have suprised myself quite a bit with the success ive been able to have this year in my first Open events ever. Started off the year with a 4th place finish at Shale City in Ashland, Or, which is a brutal course, i think Talon Goodhand beat me by 3 to win. Then came Millsite Park in Myrtle Creek where i went toe to toe with Dan Corbin and Talon to finish 2 shots back in 3rd place. Finally Wildlife Safari was not so kind to me as i took 5th but didnt play real well. Tough course no doubt but when you lose your one distance driver that you trust a couple days before the round on a long course it does not help things. Whistlers promises to be a great time and we should have 130 people or so. Looking forward to it.

Scotty, you have played well this year. Good job; that's some serious arms you're going against.
I have actually really surprised myself, as well. I have been playing about 11 months and am ranked 2nd overall in the huge Am class. 1st in Ams has been playing 6 years. I don't know how long your bud, Zaq, has been playing, but he should be ranked 3rd in Ams, right now!
Beyond excited about Whistler's Bend! Whoo hooooo!!!
