Progress Report 02/15/08

Injury Progress Update:

I started PT last week and it's going well. Got permission to start driving the car (it's a stick) and toss the walking cast his week.

I've been putting every day ... and amazingly enough, feels like I never stopped. Yesterday I hit 6/6 from 30 feet several times and was probably hitting about 80% from that distance. I think that might be a little better than I was putting before I got hurt (except I can't jump put yet, and my jump putting was HOT Nov-Dec last year).

Feel like I'm making good progress. Just need to keep working on flexibility and strength so I can get out and walk better.

It's really nice having two baskets at the office now, I have them set up about 36 feet apart in the driest part of the office yard. Makes quick work of 100 putts!

glad to hear it john, dan my buddy that just had knee surgery is doing good as well, matter of fact him and his wife are stopping over tonight and shooting some pool, don't you be thinking think im going to cut him any slack either, it will be just like when we are out on the course, WHO ARE YOU !!!

Your blog caught my eye on the front page. I've been in physical thereapy for 5 weeks now recovering from a badly broken ankle. I've been out since Aug 21, so needless to say I am jonesing for disc golf.

Stay positive, take one day at a time. I don't know how bad or what your injury was but, progress for me was slow. Good luck, and I'm glad I'm not the only disc golfer going through this.
