According to the TV news, Lubbock TX has receieved 7" of rain, a new record for the city. I just happen to be stuck here for this.

They said many major routes are completely impassable, and police and firefighters had to rescue someone from a car already. The road outside my hotel is impassable, and I may be stuck here tomorrow morning as they say they don't expect the water level to go down soon. More rain to come.

The courses will probably be impossible to play anyway, but this sucks because I will have to get another night and sit here all day starvin'. I may end up just leaving Lubbock if I can tomorrow and skipping these 2 courses, going to Abilene and hoping it's better there.

There are cars stuck outside.

At least your not stuck in Amarillo-- only thing to do there for fun is try to eat a 72oz steak in under an hour.

Well, your stuck between a wet and a wetter place. First chance head northwest via 84 and hang out up there a few days to see where Ike goes....wherever Ike goes there will likely be flooding...lots of flooding....plan on playing the TX coast....next year. That sucker is the size of Texas....they are expecting a 20' storm surge with some waves close to 50' Link to and watch these tracks over the next couple of days.

If Ike brings Lubbock more rain, before what's there....subsides...and you can split...then, I want to share a Florida original...."Hunker Down"
