Important, ace race and more

So, today I carpooled to the ace race.

We got there about an hour and a half early to get in some practice. I was the 35th guy out of 81 to sign in!

So, we get started practicing and I hit a metal right off the bat. And that got rid of all my luck :)

After that I had a whole bunch of close misses and such. And our last hole was a mini hole, and I made it in practice, but never in normal game.

Our TD explained to us an Idea he had. He stacked some giant wire spool things on each other, and then put the basket on top of them. If there were 2 spools under a basket, it was worth 3 metals or 3 aces, etc. There were a few holes like this. But, I didn't hit any.

We played 2 rounds of 30 holes, I got one metal in the first round, but nothing in the second. So thats 60 holes

THEN we go to play 18 holes for fun at another course. I was soooooo tired the majority of my drives were about 140 feet. Seriously, I was that tired...I finally got my game together on the last few holes.

And I also earned myself a nickname, "the youngster".
