Man it is getting to the end of February and the weather is still frigid here in Illinois. This winter has been very weird. Lots of snow, 45 one day and 3 the next. Hopefully it will be done soon. I need my discs to start flying the way the normally do..... half-way decent! The cold and high winds make my discs do some weird things, including ending up behind my lie 3 times in a row!!! Yes 35 MPH winds and ice sheets will do that to you. The first tourney is coming up in a few weeks and I am stoked. I have been waiting to play anything other than doubles at league. Time to see if this play over the winter has helped any. It has not seemed so as of late, though. I shot over par at my home course 3 times in a row now and I never do that. My normal there is 6-9 down. The kids have taken up more time, one of them has discovered how to walk around the room using the wall and couches and anything else he can puch around (like his saucer and the footstool). I wouldn't trade anything for that though.
The putting has been what is really getting me down right now. I am throwing a much better line, however, they are all hitting front iron. It seems no matter what I do, aim at the basket, or the number plate, it still hits front iron. With the sun staying out a little longer everyday and the weather getting warmer (not right now though, it is currently 11 degrees outside) it may help. I think a big problem is the stiff fingers and frozen plastic. It has been making my putte slick and I think I am releasing early on my putts. Warmer weather will tell.
