So I am obsessed with disc golf, I have to golf everyday, no matter if it's shooting at this small course here in Plainwell, which the distance on this nine hole course adds up to a whopping 1385, or throwing my putters in between two skinny trees (and imagining theres a basket there). I have been golfing for a while now. I've had the opportunity to explore one of the biggest and best disc golf scenes in the world right here in Michigan. There are so many disc golf courses in southern Michigan it's crazy. I've been able to explore about 27 of them so far. Might be more. I even got to golf in Toledo once at Ottawa Park. I am convinced though that Michigan is the disc golf mecca in the midwest. We have the sweetest courses around I think. I just recently attended the state finals and the view from hole one on the Beast course is nuts. Looking at Lake Michigan, just cant beat that. And the sunset there is priceless.
So I apologize for shotty camera work on my videos. My friend who caddied for me also did my camera work, so she had a lot to handle, and it was my camera which she's never used either. So thanks to all you guys who leave me rude comments, I really appreciated Desiree's willingness to participate just for the plain fact that she loves disc golf too. So you guys are actually dissing on a girl, not me, so good job jerks, we're all supposed to be friends here. I had a ton of fun at the tournament in Ludington. I had no idea what it was going to be like. It was my first tournament ever and I was nervous. I was very relieved to find out that the tournament director Jeff Schwass had an apple orchard to camp in, and PARTY in (go Jeff), because being Labor Day weekend, no campsite was open for 50 miles. The courses we shot that weekend were crazy and beautiful and blew my mind. Flip City opened my eyes to what someone could do with their spare acreage, and I couldn't think of a better way to lay it out myself. I was really impressed with all the disc golfers I met and how courteous most of them were. I finally found where I am not an outcast for talking disc golf 24/7.
Basically what I'm saying is HELLO DISC GOLF WORLD! We have finally been united, and hopefully this website will bring us all together and bring the sport into a new light and spread like crazy. EVERYONE MUST DISC GOLF
Thank You
