The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

Had a great day today. I have the week off of school (I don't quite get why but I'll take it and so will the kids) so I got in three rounds today.

One normal round at Paco with Scott H. It was really odd. I had 2 birdies, one bogey and a -1 round. Lots of good pars and some great putts, except when putting for a 2. Oh well, it was great fun.

Then I went to Expo, but way of DL Discs for a new KC Roc, and played two rounds of speed golf. Just threw my new KC Roc and my Wizard in 5-12 mph winds. First round was kinda poor but the time was good. Second round was much better and my best so far running. Would have had -10 or -11 except my birdie putt on 16 doinked and rolled in the creek. Guess I gotta putt better!

I've decided to just add the total score to the time and use that for comparing rounds. It just seems easier than anything else I've seen. Anyone else running is welcome to post and compare however they wish. I'd be happy for the feedback, competition.

Round 1 was a 55 in 20:49 = 75:49
Round 2 was a 46 in 19:11 = 65:11

I figure anything lower than 65 is doing pretty well running and shooting. It'd be awesome to hit the 50s on a round! that's like -15 in under 20 minutes. It can be done!

Cheers,

-MADMAX
