Hey Zeke,

Well last night I made my way from London city to Beckenham in Greater London. as the crow flies its not too far, but of course this place is so dense it takes a bit (20mins), not much really.
Got up about 7.00am this morning, had shower in a bath... yeah a shower in a bath. Not one of those 2 in 1 numbers, this thing is a bath with a shower head, and you take it lying down (kind of like how Arden does). Anyway jumped on the Croydon tram to Sandilands then changed to the New Addington line, then got off a first stop. Nice park, good catching baskets (plus there's actually 18 of them!), great elevation changes, decent trees and shrubs to avoid, some challenging O.B. close to baskets - freaking shitty blackberry bushes though! It's like walking in to a blender to retrieve your disc!

A couple locals met me there. One of which was Dan Pommer, who I'd played previously with a Yeronga in Brisbane at the Queensland Open in 2007. ...Small world indeed. The other was Richard Wood, course designer and installer. Had a couple rounds. Par for the course is 55, only one par 4, the rest par 3 (although there are some long par 3's). Shot 54 on the first, then 55 on the second. The wind picked up on the second... Shut up Paul it did!! Apparently course record is -8. Good score, but I'm gonna have to beat it Zeke.

Photos soon...
