The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

Well,

I went and played at Kentwood Park near NC State yesterday. I managed to get a round in finishing with 45 strokes. I got greedy and decided to play another 9 holes. On the second round in I managed to not focus on Hole #3 because a group of 5 people told me I could play through. Hole 3 is a small 220 ft hole with O.B. Creek on the left. Stupid me, just grabbed the 12x KC Pro Aviar and hurried my drive. The creek is usually pretty shallow but the disc managed to find the deepest part of it. Of course, there was a guy and his lab stirring up the water and to no avail, I couldn't see a thing. After 15 minutes of wading... I left.

Who would go back for a 12x ? I would. So today I decided what the Hell, maybe the water stays murky and no one saw it. I took off after work and my luck, the water was crystal clear. The disc had my name on it but knowing poor college kids and how fairly decent shape the disc was in; I doubt I'm getting a call back.

The whole day wasn’t bad news though. I almost got an ace on Hole #17. It’s a 217ft downhill hyzer shot. I thought the other guys cleared out because they walked off out of view and it hit the top of the basket and chained out. Almost…..almost. Till next time..

I love this game,

Mike Inscho
