Today I spent the better part of the afternoon doing clean up work at my favorite course Bandemer. I have put in a lot of time working on this course in the last year. from keeping the tees clear in the winter to making small but needed improvements to the course. Today i mowed the fairways down on 7 and 8. Took me and my brother about 21/2 hours of work to get it done but man does it look good. I do this for others in hopes that the course gets used more. It also helps me.later this evening after our work today we met up for a quick round. I almost didn't go but something was drawing me to go. I met up with one of my friends at the course waiting for the other two guys i was waiting for. we decided on a doubles round of reds for the night. We (me and Dan) were 4 down teeing off on six. dan's tee shot was short and in the brush. My turn. I threw the worst shot of the night for me at the time. But as i watched it hit the ground the most amazing thing happened it skipped up off the ground and landed right in the basket. That was my first ace ever. i have recently been close a lot hitting chains and basket. but nothing compares to the feeling of watching it hit the chains off the tee and stick.

Thanks for reading
Garrett

it is spelled Karma......I hope I don't earn bad juju for pointing that out. Garrett I can't think of anyone that deserved that ace more.....all the hard work you provided last winter to keep those tee pads clean and free of ice. welding and replanting the basket (#7) at waterworks. maintaining the course and finding others lost discs seems to be a strength of yours. It is indeed a case of what goes around comes around!!!! Big fat congrats!!! Look forward to being on the course with you when you hit your next one!!!!
