48 Holes at Hudson Mills

So I went there with intentions to play 48 holes, all longs. But, after playing the Blacks (Monster Long) 24, I went over to the original and decided it wasn't safe to play the longs, too many people stepped on them and turned it into pure ice. The black tees had some snow making it possible to drive off of, though they were pretty bad.

I shot 69 (-3) on the Blacks, and 65 (-7) on the Reds.

Had some pretty lame shots and some pretty great ones. Hole #9 Black is 410' and I got pin high, left side 40ft' and made the putt. Only had one bogey and one double-bogey on the blacks. Total time it took to play, no stopping= 2h 30m, not bad. There were only 3 other people out there that I saw. It was the first time I had to pay the 2$ fee, and I am really let-down. I'd imagine if we had to start paying to play (skiiers, joggers, dog-walkers and tennis players DON'T have to pay 2$), that they'd actually take care of all of our tee-pads and clean up some of the fallen tree mess. Guess not.
