For anyone wondering why I am 'skipping' some of the best courses, it's because I already played them before no worries.
Already played: Clearwater, Largo, Dunedin, Sarasota, Brandon, St. Petersburg, Most of Orlando, Daytona Beach and Jacksonville.
I will probably be at Cliff Stevens around 8-9am tomorrow morning to play there again. Anyone know what time G's opens? I need a golden retriever first!
Might even play Tocobaga again, then head to Ft Myer area probably playing North Port Charlotte for the last round of the day.
I taught 3 young boys, distant relatives, how to play during this last round. They successfully completed 9 holes, and one got a nice par.
Safety Harbor, FL- Gregg Pass Memorial:Beside a church, carved out of thick jungle. You need bright plastic, I lost a very nice original crystal buzz that was light green, on a great drive too. Very tough from longest tees, so overgrown and tight near impossible to park any hole. But there are up to 4 tees per hole, carpet or dirt. Not too well marked, #1 is alongside Marshall Rd right before the church. Once you find it, you can find the rest. Map online is critical though. Needs some TLC to be more playable, but fun I suppose.
