I played the front nine at Timmons today at +2. That isn't much of a score but it's a big improvement over what I have been throwing. My putting was much better today. That is a huge relief as I was starting to believe that I just can't putt. But other than drop-ins I only had 4 putts. I drained two of them from the 15-20 foot range, then I missed one that was off-balance from 25-30 feet out. I finished on 9 with a 20 to 25 foot putt that a tree had the right side of the chains blocked. I had to really drill it to keep it from hyzering away from the chains, but it hit the left side of the chains and fell out. But that was about as well as I could expect from there. I also had much more control. I have very limited range and I can't throw anything backhanded hard. When I do my right arm goes dead for a while. I am encouraged to be playing again, but I have a long way to go.
