Tonight was pretty uneventful. The weather had been wet and even though the sun came out after work the course was very wet and it was also very windy out. Neither Bill or Steve came out tonight, so I played one round by myself. I threw a +4 but didn't play nearly as bad as that score would indicate. I should have birdied #2 but short-armed a 20 foot putt. My tee shot on #4 was very good, but the wind caused me to whiff on two putts for a bogey. The tee shot on #5 was also caught by the wind and pushed far off course as was my approach, for another bogey. On #9 my tee shot was great but the wind pushed it a little left into the outfield of the adjoining softball field for an OB and a double bogey. I would have played another round, but I was pretty aggravated from work. I have found that when I show up aggravated that I don't play very well.

The big city council gathering was last night and it was so much fluff. Time will tell if anything ever comes of it. I don't have much hope for it.

I don't know what has become of Bill. We played last Tuesday, but it was raining on Thursday. The weather was also iffy tonight, but I haven't been able to get him on the phone wither.
