I made it safely home today after playing a round in the coldest weather and the only snowfall I've played in on the trip!
Got to love being in the north.
Important: Anyone who uploaded a pic to win the basket please make sure it is TAGGED properly so you will have a chance of actually winning! We are figuring out how to go about that now, but until I play a few new courses around home it's not over.
I went into work and don't have a good job prospect at least not right away, no chance of hours until later in the month or next month :( so I may have to start job searching or looking into classes at the community college first off instead. r
Tomorrow we head to Lake in the Woods to begin designing the new course.
***Canton, OH- Spiker Arboretum:***I played it almost 10 years ago to the day, and my memories of it were insanely accurate and I was surprised how much I could recall. 24 holes, 3 sets of cement tees, brand new tee signs. You have to cross a street twice as it's in two parks. Semi flat save for a few small bowl shaped areas, a creek and several ponds often in play with a few shots right over them. Very open but a couple tight shots and clumps of woods. All mowed grass, some mature trees. No low ceilings, pure woods holes. Some long holes 500+ especially from longest tees. Very nice park and area too.
I am already bored.
