yeah for daylight savings! played a tag round followed by a doubles round and still had ample daylight to spare.

we played in the wind today. glad i didn't read the fine print when i checked the forecast. apparently there was 20+ mph winds with 30-50 mph gusts. again with the character-building weather. erica said one day we'll wake up and it will be spring; i hope she's right. oh well, at least we didn't get the 21.4 inches of snow that my family in cleveland saw. i don't miss shoveling.

4 of us played today and it was a hoot. kristi brought some of her finest material ;) charis & erica were also great company. a most excellent CT foursome. special thanks to the beer fairy and the letter Q.

i'm excited to wear something other than: wool hat, the same "bionic fleece" jacket and pants, plus 3 other pairs of pants.

Sounds like you girls had a good time. I can't wait for spring either, playing on dry ground will feel better than christmas did when I was a kid. Keep the good times rolling, and maybe i'll see you all at Bowling Green where we can sample, and compare each others finest materials ;) Peace
