The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

I've had two pairs of Bite Disc Golf shoes since the fall. The reinforced toes are not reinforced enough. I know, I shouldn't have bought a second pair. The shoes are good in theory. Maybe with a little shoe glue or some electrical tape wrapped around my right foot...

Thanks. According to a distance clinic by Des and Jay Reading, we should be pivoting on our HEELS, not our toes. That may make a small difference.

Try Pumas or most any pair of Skatr shoes

I also have a pair of hi tops that I have had for 1 1/2 years. I wear them for rain and cold conditions. Other than being stinky, there is nothing at all wrong with them. I have had several people say theirs were wearing out, all of whom drag their back foot when throwing. Dragging your foot along concrete time after time, will wear ANY shoe out. With that said, Crocs apparently has no intention of continuing the DG line. I have heard there are new colors coming out in the same 'distance hi top' but they won't be marketing dg. On top of that, they have raised the, already high, price another $15. I won't be carrying them any longer unless something changes.

Yeah that sucks, my shoes end up looking like that after a few months too.

OK, I checked the online receipt and the high tops were bought in late August. That is a long time on the courses, so maybe it's not so bad. i mostly played weekends and often switched with the low tops (bought a little previously).

I have had my pair for about 8months now and I am just starting to wear down the front toe. I use a lot of back foot drag also...

Be sure you post photos of the Salomons after 6 months or more too.

That is not normal wear. I've had two pair [of Bite Dhighs] for over a year, and they look nothing like that.
