I hurt my shoulder playing league on Tuesday.
How is it I can throw 310 times in Emporia (2 huge courses) over the weekend without hurting myself, but I come back home and hurt myself immediately. I think it may have something to do with my bag/ back pack straps. I can feel the tension in my shoulders every time I take my bag on and off.
I have been going to a chiropractor for 5-6 years now, but have been fortunate enough to not see him for the last year or so. My chiroprator practices Applied Kinesiology and other unique methods that have proved to be very helpful in developing a practical & functional form when I am throwing. This time, I'm going to take my bag with me and see what he recommends to reduce the stress on my back.
This sucks! Right when the weather finally gets nice and tournament season is under way, I have to give it a rest. Oh, well. I'll volunteer to help the TD's until I recover.
