The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

I learned I have a lot of strength but that it's not working for me. I'm using too much upper body, not enough legs. I'm pivoting on my toe instead of my heel of my front foot. I'm coiling the disc too much and keeping it too far from my chest when I throw. I'm not pointing my hip at the basket or leading with the hip in the right way. I dont't have a "fairway driver" because I always go for super distance. Texas courses aren't punishing enough because you can often get away with crap shots because they're so open. You should throw with the slowest disc that will take you where you need to go. Etc. Etc. Etc.

Aahhh! Too much to focus on!

Des and Jay Reading were great at Disc Nation in Austin. I have a lot to work on in the basics before I tackle the advanced shots.
