The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

It is this Saturday, April 5! See the previous post for details. Registration is 8-9. BYO partner doubles. Entry fee is $35, but there are a lot of opportunities to spend more than that.

I've been dying up some specials for the players who play this tournament, including a limited number of First Run Darkside Forces. These discs will have my custom Vader dyed on the dark side of the disc! I'm also doing some new Yodas and some Red Wings. The dyed specials will be cash-only until payout time -- then they will be available for brass, if any are left.

The basket sleeves went in yesterday. Maybe baskets will go in the sleeves Thursday. Call Willow Brook in Byron for tee times for practice rounds. $10 including cart on weekdays, I believe.

Tracy is doing custom etched mirrors for trophies, I hope. That was the plan.

We're trying to keep the entry fee as low as possible for this, so I'm probably going to lose money on this. Unless you buy a disc. If you think Tracey and I have done a good job getting this course to go permanent, buy a disc as a way of saying thank you.

Pros, you know the deal. Payouts suck when we pay green fees, but if you bring along all your amateur minions, sycophants, suck ups and wannabes, they might comp your green fees. MIGHT. They did last time and we put it back into your payout. Past performance is no guarantee of future results.

Amateurs: Most southeast Michigan TDs are making about $15 profit per advanced player. Guess what our green fees are? You won't even feel it if you are used to playing Michigan Am Scam tournaments.
