It's been a bit since I've added to my blog, well been doing lot's of throw'in, mostly at Widefield Community Park DG Course, LOL, the score never seems to improve much, a stroke or two. Picked up a couple more Birdies but the elusive ACE doesn't seem to be in my bag! ;)
Been doing a monthly Clean Up of the DG area of the park, it's amazing how lazy players can be, sometimes there's a trash can right on the tee but they still leave their trash all over, grrrrrrrrrr! :( It's sure nice to see some "green" in the grass and some starting signs of Spring here in Southern CO. although it snowed about 5 inches last night but the sun came out and it's mostly gone! Hoping to get in a round on Friday, still trying to break the barrier, ie: I've finally gotten to a score of 70 on the Widefield DG course but I can't seem to do anything different to break into the "60's" for the course, arrrrrrugh! ;)
My wife Jo and I host the PPFDC FUN League on Sundays, it's been great to see folks, throw plastic for the first time and get jazzed about playing DG. We've even got some folks in the club to donate their old disc's and created "Loaner Disc Kits" so you can come play and not even have to purchase a disc till you find out you LOVE throw'in plastic! :)
Were hoping to do a "Gypsy Tour" of many of the DG course in CO. for our vacation this year, there's some mountain courses that sound awesome, really looking forward to smack'in some high mountain chains! Well I'll close for now, hope your getting out and throw'in as much as possible!
Take care, have FUN, Throw Plastic!
