It's amazing how little things can change your game a lot. I worked with a good friend named Dan Beato yesterday on my driving a little bit during the round. It was lovely being nearly the only ones out throwing in the rain at Acorn. (Today it snowd and is 31 degrees right now!) By a little bit, I mean MAYBE 5 minutes between two different holes. It was just a little lesson on acceleration, power, release point, and getting my body forward and over the disc while driving with my back leg. I'm already throwing farther, although frustrated with accuracy. I know the accuracy will come back with practice though. Just those few tips are helping me keep the nose down. I love it! I'm addicted. Can't wait to do more field work with Dan and get myself all geared up for the Majestic. I'm playing Advanced Am Women, and hope to play my game well which, if I do, should lead to placing well according to Dan. I'll blog more as I learn more.
