The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

Just finished my first Pro Masters tournament. I definitely noticed the overall playing ability of the players compared to Advanced Masters. It was nice to play with and meet new people. I finished last for my division. Not what I was hoping for but one has to take defeat well, just as winning with respect for others is also necessary. I just couldn't get anything going yesterday, today my putting finally showed up, good to have it back (it never showed up at 2007 AM Worlds). Hopefully it will stay around for the rest of the year. Driving still is my biggest weakness. If one doesn't keep it on the fairway it is hard to do well. The Gateway Assassin was the disc that was a nice addition to my bag. It flew straight and fills a spot in my bag as a fairway driver. Randy (TD) had me run the skins match. I wasn't quite prepared for it mentally, since I had no forewarning before it actually was about to begin. All the players and spectators took all in stride. It ended up going into a 3-hole sudden death (had to tie to continue). It was nice to get out once again and play a tournament.

SRO, what a blast, it's Tuesday and I haven't recovered from the rain on Friday. Good Luck in your new division. I can see why your game isn't where you want it right now, cute kid! He'll probably be battling with my twins and kulich's boy down the road.
