Holmes Park - Lovers in the Fairway

I went over to Holmes this afternoon and played a couple of rounds at +3 and -1. The first time around I was thrown off a bit by a pair of romantics in the middle of the 2nd fairway. I tried to throw anhyzer around them and threw a terrible shot. Then I clanged my par putt for a bogey. I bogeyed 4, birdied 6, and missed a very easy par putt on 9. I also missed a birdie putt of 3. The second time around I caught up with a group of older guys and played the last 5 holes with them. I birdied 2 and 5 but bogeyed 8 by hitting a tree next to the basket with my approach shot and it rolled a long way down the hill.

I finally found Bill last night and we are going to start playing Gower on Thursdays again. I think that I'll do Holmes on Tuesday and Gower on Thursday. Once college baseball is over I'll start getting some weekend rounds in again.
