The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

this is my first blog on discgolfersr.us so bear with me. I've been a member for a little while but haven't really managed this page. (stuck to my email and myspace)

i'm a right handed thrower but recently challenged myself to throw left handed. it's really working out well!! in my own opinion at least. right handed i canconsistently hit 300'. yesterday i paced it out and lefty... pushing 275'. i know for some of you 300' isn't that great but for me... it's a world of "umph" to get it that far. i say consistently because i have cleared 400' and here lately with my wraith and destroyer, i'm hitting 350'-375'. but that's not every time. and only with certain discs and conditions.

i've actually got money this weekend on a round of 18 at Live Oak City Park with some buddies of mine. but the only way they will let me join in on their gamble is if i play lefty. (i beat them by an average of 12-15 strokes per 18 right handed) so this should make it about even. we'll see how it goes. (and i won't make it rich with our little side bet. it's only $5 a person and there is only gonna be 3 of us.)

wish me luck!!! let's see who all reads this.

Keep practicing the lefty shot. I just started working on my lefty game, and it's paying off. If this old dog can learn a new trick, anyone can!
