I flew from Grand Junction CO to St Louis on Wednesday night. Interesting flight coming over the Rockies ... probably the bumpiest plane ride I have ever taken. We landed just in time ... I was about to blow chunks.
Denver to St Louis was casual. Arrived, and was picked up by my nephew Adam and his fiance Chris. Spent the day Thurday at my sisters house visiting my folks and family. Great time.
The weather is a little intense today. Thudershowers and some wind. I'm going out to hit up Creve Coeur Park and Sioux Passage this afternoon ... the only two courses I have not played here. Tournament starts tomorrow, and we will play a different course for every round. Jeffersons Barracks, Endicott, Sioux Passage and Creve Coeur. We won't know what parks we're playing, and in what order until tomorrow morning at the players meeting.
I was a little disappointed that there were no more than one Pro Grandmaster registered by Wednesday, so I went ahead and registered to play Adv Grandmasters. Looks like we have about 7 players in that division. Should be a fun time.
I had a great conversation with Mike Barnett at Sunk King Disc Sports on Wednesday. He's going to sponsor me as a player this year. Looking forward to working with the Sun King and letting everyone know what a great disc golf retailer they are.
Stay tuned for more on the St Louis Open.
