So this weekend summer decided to make its entré in Denmark, thereby giving us great weather during the annual
Kokkedal Open. Kokkedal Open was this years second tournament on the Danish National Tour and a PDGA EuroChallenge C-tier.

After seeing some of the top pros last weekend at the Copenhagen Open (David Feldberg, Timo Pursio, etc.) I was eager to get some tournament action myself. This and of course the great weather made it very hard for me to be angry with myself for bad throws for very long, so I ended up
scoring pretty well and actually I even made it to the finals on Sunday. My game went pretty much out the window in the finals with one poor throw following another, but WTF... Given that my goal for this tournament was to just focus 100% on one throw at a time and not worry about previous bad throws, score, competitors score or anything equally irrelevant to my game, I'm generally very content. Prospects for the season are looking good!
All in all, I had a fantastic tournament meeting good old friends I havent seen for years and basically just having a blast! Also, the guys organising the tournament - the
KFGK - did a great job to make this tournament special for all the players - a big thanks to them & see you next year!
