Sunday Morning Doubles 5/2.)5/08

The Dela Sunday morning doubles in Santa Cruz, California at Upper Delaveaga Park.
It is a $5.00 buy in and it goes something like this for those not in the know :
1) partners are Paired A players with B players
2) Best Shot(meaning you drive, then your partner drives and the best shot or most clear shot is the
shot you normally take)
3) You use a Marker disc to mark the spot of where the Disc Landed.

Okay now to get down to the round, Took way to laggin long for the round!
6 player groups, 3 groups of 2 was the group I was.
Nothing against anyone that I played with, just slows things down and have some flare ups/slow downs/bickerings/etc
in the game. Well our group of 6(3 A players and 3 B Players) started off on Hole #7.
Me and say Goldie S. had some great shots/bad shots/horrible shots/OBs/etc. Dela was nice and mean to us all
wrapped up in one, but to say the least we shot a -2 for the hole round. Which cashed us a $20.00, I got $10.00 and
Goldie S got a $10.00.

On hole #27 I drove with a Surge side arm around the trees on Hole #2 over and hyzered and landed not too far
from the Tee Pad to Hole #1(well the goof I am, I went out of turn and got a bit chewed for it)
But after all was said and done, GS, made a killer back hand putt and slammed it into the basket and HURRAY
it stayed in the basket. That was a Birdie for us!
