Big thunderstorm dropped buckets of ran after I checked into my hotel, with possible hail so I am done for the day after just 2 courses.

Tolland, CT- Cross Farms:Very nice and well kept in some flat woods. Has good shot balance and is well designed. Several par 4's. Almost all woods, no big shots to air out. Great gravel pads and great signs. Errant shots are not overly punished, you can usually get up and down for 3 still with a great upshot. Nothing nasty or too rough. Great course.

Manchester, CT- Wickham:Beautiful and extremely well manicured. The woods are clean and the grass is near ball-golf like. The rubber tees and smooth and flat and brooms are provided. The signs are great and it's easy to follow especially with a scorecard from the gate guy. It's long, but having a big arm doesn't help that much, almost no extra deuce op's for big arms, and the longer holes can be 3'ed without a big arm as well. Mix of open, open with some trees for placement, and shorter tightly wooded holes. Can be very windy. Views of Hartford skyline.

i dont really need to do 48 states..esp. if one of two in ri is not in, the other says "poison ivy, thick rough and mosquitoes, not well marked"
and it'd cost 100$ to play it in terms of travel and time

So how will you play in 48 states? Are you planning a swing back thisa way later?

BTW, after a few days away from the computer, here's the updated map of Where Ben's Been

Did you play in Rhode Island? If so, I must have missed the post.

Especially if there's a hole in the fence/a yearly pass.
