It was 13 degrees when I got there but had warmed up to a balmy 15 by the end of the round. Shot a -5, 32 on the front nine and -6, 31 on the back with a 2 on hole 10 by hitting a 75 footer.

Ok, I was thinking that has to be the longest course in the US. It made me want to come out to play it. The long courses are my favorite. If you plan on playing tourneys this summer just keep yourself in shape this winter. Drink lots of water before and during your rounds and don't drink Gatorade without cutting it with water.

Yeah, on the score card it's a 74. I suppose I should make this blog private. I'm really just keeping my scores for my own benefit. I figure in a 6 months, it'll be nice to see progress. I've been playing for all of 4 months so, to me, these're great scores. ;-)

the course he is talking about (MCC) IS a par 54. i played it once. it was where Rochester held its A.C.E.S event. (Amatuer Club Event Series) im thinking about playing the Rochester Ice Bowl in a few weeks there too!

i think he is playing everything as a 4 (par 72) instead of 3 (par 54)
so really he is shooting PLUS (+) not NEGITIVE (-)

it sounds good though.... keep playing man! i give you lots of props for braving the cold!
