I worked over 45 minutes tonight but got off so that I could meet Bill at Gower. But Bill was a no show. Coop said that he would come over if he could get his sleep in but he wasn't there either, so he must not have finished sleeping. But I used to work the graveyard shift and I know what a struggle that is.
I didn't play especially well, but I was +3 and +2. My tee shots and upshots were both a mess tonight and I was scuffling to save par many times. On the first go around I blew up on #6. The tee shot slide into a picnic shelter and I over threw the approach. I also had terrible tee shots both times on #7. The fist time was a bogey and I saved par the second time. The 2nd go around I was saved by several 25 to 35 foot putts. I birdied #9 with a 40 foot putt. Overall it was pretty ugly, but I had fun any way!
I called Bill after I got home just to make sure everything was cool and he was tied up with a project. He was surprised when I told him that I had played and asked me what time it was! I know that projects do make me lose track of time.
