The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

I just finished playing a C-tier event in the advanced division in Helsingør. I actually think it was a killer course. It wasnt just long open holes. It was a good mix of lengths and wooded/openness. The par 6 hole worked really well and even with just a little elevation it made the hole very tricky. And fortunately there where only a few places, where you could easily lose your disc. The weather was really nice, very littIe wind, clear skies and temps above 25C. Im really happy with how I played the first round, I didnt miss any putts that I should have made, and I only missed two upshots. Some of the driving could have been a little better, but I was still very happy, and it gave me a three-throw lead unto second place.
It seems the heat took its toll on almost everybody in the second round and scores where a lot worse. I played six strokes worse in the second round, fortunately the others on my card played worse as well, so I was able to hang on to win my first tourney ever. Especially bad was my putting and I missed several shorter putts, I three-putted on one hole, where I had a shot at a birdie.

So I think I need to try out the discraft putting confidence clinic and see if it helps out.
